Post fluid flow in folded strata -- or folded cortex
I'm a student of neuroscience, not geology. But can anyone provide a source for knowledge or expertise about fluid flow in folded strata, that I can relate to fluid flow in cortical folds?
Possibly the key question will be:
“How is the relative permeability of upper syncline layers (in both strata and cortex) affected by their compression in folds, which will probably be a function of their composition and fold radius?”
Is there a text or computer model that deals with this?
My expectation is that such research may lead to a new therapy for migraines.
