Density & Neutron log

The file is attached.

Below is a typical example of a Gamma Ray (GR), Photo Electric Factor (PE or PEF), Neutron (NPHI) and Density (RHOB or DEN) log, showing their response for different lithologies and fluids.

Agganitk,

Do you have a question about the log or is it just posted to share?
These examples do show the basics of log analysis, but I feel a resistivity log should also be included to provide assurance on hydrocarbon presence, rather than only density and neutron crossovers in very very very clean sands like happens here.

I have posted it for just to share. Yaaa.. thanks for reminding... Clay minerals can also give separation in den and neu porosity curves.

Nothing specific... only change is decision to read/refresh available material and keep on increasing knowledge with time ..
