Senior Technical Advisor - Seismic Stratigraphy Specialist
Our client is a leading independent oil and gas exploration and production company based in Australia with an impressive portfolio of international assets. As a result of their ongoing global success, they are looking for a highly experienced Seismic Stratigraphy expert to join their team to work as a Technical Advisor on projects worldwide. This position would be based at their offices in Perth.
This role is open to all nationalities, and would look to offer a highly competitive salary package plus benefits and bonuses.
Key Qualifications:
*MSc. (PhD. preferred but not required) Sedimentology/Stratigraphy
*15+ years of oil and gas industry experience
*Hands on experience: regional geology, sequence stratigraphy / sedimentology in a wide range of global basins
*High level of technical specialty understanding and ability to integrate all available subsurface data
*Energetic with a strong level of communication
Job Scope:
*Provide specialist support/advise to Exploration, Development and other relvant teams
*Conduct specialist studies as part of integrated projects, leading role to definite scope / deliverables
*Cover regional to prospect scale assessments - coded projects, gazettal evaluatioons and farm in opportunities
*Maintain positive line of communication with relevant teams / team members
*Evaluate new tools and technologies for reservoir analysis, seismic and sequence stratigraphic evaluation and biostratigraphy
