Job Description
Leap 29 are currently working on behalf of a major oil field services company, who have an opportunity within their esteemed team in Woking, Surrey, for an experienced Subsea Geotechnical Engineer.
Here you will hold full technical responsibility for interpreting, organising, executing and coordinating geotechnical aspects of projects and technical assurance. You will apply extensive experience over broad areas to ensure technical quality of work and efficiency of approach, providing leadership and direction amongst your team of engineers.
The ability to write specifications, design philosophy, soil interpretation, geotechnical surveys, trenching and ploughability analysis, shallow and deep offshore foundation design, numerical modeling are all essential.
In order to be successful you will hold a relevant degree, with 7 years of experience in your offshore geotechnical discipline, including areas such as piled and suction piled structures, mud mat design and pipeline interaction.
