Job Description
One of the leading seismic service providers to the Global Oil and Gas industry are now searching for a highly skilled Sr. Geophysicist to join the company's multi-discipline team in Houston, Texas. This is a fantastic opportunity which will provide the chance to work on exclusive projects for the Major industry clients.
As Staff Data Processing Geophysicist you be will providing support to the geophysical team in seeking and developing new processing and acquisition technology. A strong knowledge of all phases of 2D and 3D time and/or depth projects is required to support project through lifespan. You will be interfacing with internal/ external clients on processing issues.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
*M.Sc. degree in Geophysics (or related field)
*Minimum 10 years industry experience
*8 years previous depth imaging experience
*2D & 3D time and depth imaging experience
*Enthusiastic individual with a strong knowledge of production concepts
*Ability to communicate well in a team environment
*Authorized to work in the United States (Green Card/US Citizen preferable) will consider H1B
