My client is a diversified and fully integrated Multinational Petroleum Company with operations in 37 countries with 101 wholly-owned subsidiaries. They have grown to become a fully-integrated Oil & Gas Corporation and is ranked among FORTUNE Global 500's largest corporations in the world.
They have a requirement for a Specialist Level Geologist to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Identifying and evaluating prospects
*Preparing wells correlation and volumetric calculations for prospects evaluation
*Evaluating core and log data to support reservoir geological studies
*Coordinating well plan, logging sequence and contributed in operations decisions
*Preparing and presenting drilling prospects to the management for approval
*Providing data analysis, operational support and daily reports during drilling
*Generating well proposals, well completions and evaluation reports
*Generating integrated reservoir studies report
The successful candidate should have 15 years experience or more, a degree in Geology (or science related qualification) and be currently working in the UK, Europe or Africa. Asia Pacific basin experience would also be an advantage but is not essential.
