Job Description
Our client is a large operator with assets and interests in the Middle East. They are widely accepted as one of the best employers in the region. We are currently searching for an experienced Seismic Interpreter Geophysicist for their office in Abu Dhabi.
In order to be considered for the position you must have an expert knowledge in
. Must have extensive experience of working with Carbonates
. Expertise with Carbonate reservoir fault interpretation
. Post-mortem well analysis
. Basic 3D seismic interpretation skills utilizing various 3D seismic datasets
· Seismic stratigraphy
· Structural analysis, particularly fault imaging
· Reservoir characterization
· Velocity analysis
· Time to depth conversion
· 2D seismic forward modelling
· Well planning
APPLICATIONS MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ALL OF THE ABOVE
You must also have a good understanding of Reservoir Engineering concepts. The successful candidate will have an Msc in Geophysics/ Physics and have in depth experience of seismic interpretation and processing works. You must also have a strong background in Development.
