Key Requirements


You should have a minimum of a B.Sc. degree in Engineering, or M.Sc. in Mathematics, Physical Science subject or other related technical discipline, together with at least ten years EP experience as a Petrophysicist or similar.
You will have strong IT skills, and will be familiar with log evaluation software.
You should have excellent leadership, communication and coaching skills, as well as sound business awareness and experience of working in multidisciplinary teams.



Job Description


You will work with a team of Petrophysicists that provides support for our producing (un)conventional fields and (un)conventional field studies, with an emphasis on managing Petrophysical data, delivering a high quality Petrophysical input and ensuring proper representation of the petrophysical properties in static and dynamic models. You will work in cross-discipline teams and your activities may include participation in project reviews.

You will be responsible for:

• open and cased hole log interpretation and log evaluation, including quick-look log interpretation

• petroleum field reviews or reservoir studies, including the interpretation or incorporation of petrophysical data and geomechanical data

• logging while drilling operations, electric wireline logging operations, including data acquisition planning and geosteering

• the supervision and monitoring of well-site logging operations

• planning of core analysis programs and incorporation of core analysis results in the petrophysical analysis

• the management of formation evaluation contracts such as coring and core analyses, electric wireline logging, measurement while drilling and logging while drilling

• HSE auditing of contractor operations or facilities

• making petrophysical contributions to field and reservoir development plans

• identifying opportunities for development, adding value through the innovative application of new technologies.

In this senior role, you will also advise and coach less experienced Petrophysics staff.
