Job Description
Our client is a reputable international operator with projects all over the globe. They are currently looking for a Senior Petrophysicist for their operations in Aberdeen. The key responsibilities for this role are as follows:
Key Responsibilities
? Provides a wide range of petrophysical support, including:
? Single or multi-well (field-scale) petrophysical evaluations
? Identification of areas of petrophysical uncertainty, particularly in relation to static/dynamic modelling studies
? Well target identification/definition
? Field re-development/reservoir modelling studies
? Operational well planning/evaluation
? QC of relevant formation evaluation data e.g. open and cased hole logs, CCA, SCAL, mudlogs, pressure data, fluid samples
? Work closely with Well Engineers and vendor logging companies in relation to tool selection and quality/cost control
? Application of advanced petrophysical techniques e.g. neural net, NMR, facies-based, multi-mineral models
? Ensure new and innovative tool technologies are considered at the well planning stage
? Provides input to field development, exploration and drilling plans.
? Participates in peer reviews, and contributes to management and joint venture partner meetings.
As the successful candidate you must have relevant North Sea experience and have a strong operator background
