Senior Log Data Processor for well log database project


Key Requirements


Ideally you will have graduated BS in Geology or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited and recognized university with a minimum experience of seven (7) years total experience in petrophysical data acquisition, well log processing, quality control, data loading, analysis and management of Open Hole and Cased Hole logs,
At least five (5) years post-degree, relevant working experience with logs acquired in carbonate – evaporate sequences;
You have international opening and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You are fluent in English, both written and oral, Arabic would be an advantage.

This position is a unique opportunity to an international career evolution

Your main duties will be:

Practical petrophysical experience must include well log trace header data validation and editing, de-spiking of sonic logs, splicing, depth shifting, and other data preparation techniques for all log types; log trace interpretation for analysis of rock properties, and quality assurance and control of output data, data preparation, selection, editing and analysis of well test results (e.g., DST, RFT, MDT, PVT).
