Job Description
Our client is a major Mining and Oil & Gas production company based in Aberdeen and operating in the North Sea
As Senior Geophyscist your main responsibilities will include
Perform production and development geophysics on producing fields in core asset areas in the Northern North Sea subsurface teams.
Work closely with the field geologist and exploitation engineer to maintain production and seek opportunities for growth through in-field drilling, near-field exploration, and bringing existing prospects to production.
Preparation of work schedules and plans, and the ability to lead projects as required.
Job skills
Essential
Development geophysics
Technical problem solving
Strong interpretation skills
Computer workstation experience
Ability to produce technically astute fit-for-purpose evaluations
Experience in Operated projects of field development / redevelopment.
Well planning and operations
Ability to construct work plans and schedules
