Job Description
**Principal Hydro geologist, Global Mining Consultancy, Saskatoon**
My client is a leading mining consultancy worldwide with many offices stretching over 6 continents. As part of their increased client demand they are looking for a Principal Hydro geologist to manage projects from their Saskatoon office.
The successful candidate will be expected to consult on projects for North American and International clients. Assignments will include design and management of mine-dewatering and mining-environmental investigations.
You should have at least 10 years experience in hydrogeology or a related field and experience at mine sites would be a very strong advantage.
You are expected to be confident in applying database, geological-modelling, geochemical-modelling, and/or GIS software. Experience with numerical groundwater-flow and transport models would be seen in high regard.
You must have a Bachelor's and preferably a Master's degree in Hydro geology. A PhD will be seen as highly favourable.
