The role comprises operations geology and formation evaluation support during well planning, well operations and post-well completion.
Key Requirements
• The successful candidate will most likely have a BSc degree in Geology (or related subject)
• Background experience in wellsite operations & well planning
• Problem-solving skills; an ability to solve unusual problems and able to tap into expert resources across the organisation
• Interested in being part of a growing team and taking leadership/mentoring/management activities over time
Job Description
The following description can be tailored depending on the experience level of the successful candidates:
• Carry out operations geology support independently
o Coordinate and prepare Well Planning Documents and Well plan in cooperation with the Geosciences and Drilling team
o Liaise with well site operations and drilling team to deliver the formation evaluation and production well objectives
o Prepare Final Well Reports
• Develop operations geology standards and deliverables
• Technically lead or manage operations geology projects
• Provide operations geology peer review/assist support to projects globally
