Job Description
JV Manager
An oil and gas exploration and production company based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia are looking for a Joint Venture Manager to work at their head office.
Due to continuous expansion this company are opening new and exciting roles to experienced candidates who can assist them in their new ventures.
To be considered for the role the candidate will need:
*15-20 years oil and gas experience
*Operator experience
*A degree in a relevant discipline
If successful the JV Manager will be responsible for:
*Leading detailed exploration strategies and initiatives by influencing operators to prudently explore for oil and gas in order to discover new oil and gas resources and successfully implementing overall target.
*Operationalizing the drilling sequence through influencing operators by ensuring comprehensive G&G studies, technical evaluation and fit-for- purpose technologies are fully exploited in order to achieve resource addition target.
*Leading and guiding the exploration team to execute detailed exploration strategies by influencing Operators and JV Partners to explore leads and prospects in matured and frontier basins and actively participating in Technical Committee Meetings in order to sustain reserve growth.
*Driving operator to undertake exhaustive block evaluation with the most innovative, viable and cost effective technical solutions and make recommendation to management on block prospectively.
*Leading the techno-commercial evaluation on asset and exploration activity investment viability in order to support desired business portfolio as well as to maximize returns and margins.
