Senior Geoscientist - International Operator - London
My client is actively recruiting for a Senior Geoscientist to join there successful team in London. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join an International Operator that are continuing to grow in the oil and gas market. You will be located at their new offices in London and will be required to Lead G & G assessment of New Venture Opportunities, while providing technical advice and support to the company's senior management and the new ventures commercial groups, as well as coaching and mentoring junior staff.
My client is an African Focused, upstream Oil and Gas Exploration Company which is listed on the London Stock Exchange (FTSE 250) with an extensive deepwater acreage position in West and East Africa acquired since its foundation in 2004.
The groups headquarters are located in London, with operational offices in Perth, Tanzania, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Kenya, Senegal and Ghan and are continuing to grow as an aggressive Operator.
To be suitable for this position you will need to have the following profile:
*Geoscience degree
*Minimum of ten years' experience
*Good Operator experience
*Ambitious attitude
*African and or Asia Experience and deep water clastic experience an important advantage
*Previous work of working in the UK
*Experienced in multiple basins and plays
*Strong Seismic Interpretation skills from regional to prospect scale
*New Venture and Dataroom experience critical
*Strong coaching and mentoring skills
*Commercial awareness critical
*Ability to communicate complex technical concept skills required
Salary is in the range of £120000 - £130000 which can be flexible for the right candidate. Excellent bonus, pension + other additional benefits.
