Job Description
Currently looking for an Hydrogeology/Project Manager to be based in Qatar working for an international Oil and Gas service company. This is a permanent staff position on a family expat package.
The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets;
Previous Experience and Competencies:
Education: MS in Engineering or related Business Field.
Experience: At least 10 years experience.
Hydrogeology experience (Karst Setting, Project Management, Groundwater modeling)
Project Management Certification: PMP or similar will be an asset
Project Management/Hydrogeology will be the main roles & responsibilities Hydrogeologist with experience in exploration, project management, drilling, modeling and reporting writing.
Project Management Experience - Field experience in drilling and placement of monitoring wells, piezometers or extraction wells.
- Field experience in techniques of pumping tests and data acquisition
- Experience in performing and analyzing aquifer hydraulic tests
- Experience in design and construction of water wells
- Experience in Modelling and Simulation techniques
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare the project plan and budget resources for the timely completion of a product that meets requirements
- Design and build, according to product development procedures and in a timely manner a product that meets requirements.
- Ensure that QHSE aspects are considered and built into the product
- Plan and conduct regular product technical reviews with managers
- Ensure validation of manufacturing and product files
- Provide required reporting promptly and efficiently
- Define performance goals for the team, manage the team
- Ensure the training and personal development of self and team
- Ensure that technologies developed during the project are properly protected through the patent process
- Keep abreast of technological developments in area of expertise to ensure a high technical quality in tools and techniques developed in the Group
- Provide input to Engineering Plan
- Coordinate with operation the qualification of product under development
- Validate prototypes through internal qualification
