Job Description
I'm looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to work for a large main contractor on a civil engineering project in London. This is an ongoing freelance position with an immediate start for the right candidate.
Your role will involve working on shift with a team and logging geotechnical information and face loging records. You will be involved in creating a daily review of the interpreted ground conditions ahead of the face for presentation in the Shift review meetings
You will be logging of all probes holes, reviewing details of any groundwater inflow or seepage and reviewing details of discontinuities.
YOu will also identification of stratigraphy and production of long section drawings
You will hold a Geotechnical or Geological Degree (or similar)
You will have a current and relevant CSCS Card.
You should be able to display previous experience within a similar role.
