Key Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
• An Earth Science degree that has a strong focus on geophysics essential. A Geophysics degree highly desired.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in oil and gas exploration essential.
• Previous training experience highly advantageous. Full training provided.
• Understanding of oil and gas exploration techniques and workflows essential.
• Previous experience of using, supporting or/and training in geoscience software essential – e.g. GIS, Geospatial, geophysical interpretation/visualisation.
• Strong client facing skills essential – ability to engage and gain trust and respect. Previous experience highly desired.
• Strong technical focus – be proactive in keeping up-to-date with the Company’s technologies, third parties, competitors advancements and the industry’s trends and practices.
• Proactive in identifying additional business opportunities when dealing with Client accounts – ensure leads are passed to the sales team.
• Strong analytical abilities with a strong focus on accuracy and high quality standards - ability to read and interpret technical information, understand the technical challenges facing clients, engage and convey appropriate workflows, solutions etc.
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Sharepoint and wikis advantageous.
• Strong presentation skills - ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical presentations to diverse audiences.
• Collaborative, flexible and self-motivated to handle a variety of situations essential. You will work across regions with different time zones and with clients from different cultures.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting demands calmly and effectively under tight time constraints, with a proven record of completing assignments on schedule.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Effective team-player, with demonstrated willingness to fully contribute to a positive work environment.
• Always prepared to go above and beyond to exceed Client expectations.
• Ability to converse in French highly advantageous.
• Willingness to travel across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Job Description
Reporting to the Managing Director, this role encompasses the following:
• Training (estimated 50% of your time) - Accountable for conducting training sessions for clients (on site and off site) covering Company and third partner products for all levels of users. Duties will include:
? Coordinate and complete high quality demonstrations and training in the EAME region, using existing training materials and tailoring sessions to meet the needs of the clients involved.
? Provide dynamic, real world examples of the relevant software features to clients, maximizing learning objectives and increasing their knowledge base.
? Communicate client feedback, progress and future opportunities to the Business team post-training in the form of reports, and forwarding these reports to appropriate team members via the CRM.
? Provide internal technical training on new releases/new products or enhancements as required.
• Business Support (estimated 50% of your time) – Support sales activities. Duties will include:
? Provide sales assistance to Account Executives in the form of software demonstrations, client visits and relationship building.
? Accompany Account Executives to client sites, providing technical expertise and support as required.
? Be proactive in helping to manage client relationships, understand and communicate the full business technical relationship to ensure client satisfaction.
