Your responsibilities as a Senior Geomechanics engineer will be to support drilling operations in real time situations. You will build and apply Geomechanical models to optimize fracture stimulation and reduce reservoir compaction, surface subsidence and sand production. You will provide real time support to the drilling team and mentor less experienced colleagues.
Key Requirements
Successful candidates will have the following:
- Russian and English skills desirable
- Higher degree in Engineering, or Pure or Applied Science
- 3D Geomechanics modelling and simulation, preferably on Russia
- 1D Mechanical earth Models
- Knowledge of borehole, real time and reservoir geomechanics

Senior Geomechanics Engineer
Moscow, Russia.

Your responsibilities as a Senior Geomechanics engineer will be to support drilling operations in real time situations. You will build and apply Geomechanical models to optimize fracture stimulation and reduce reservoir compaction, surface subsidence and sand production. You will provide real time support to the drilling team and mentor less experienced colleagues.
You will be based in the company's central Moscow office but may be required to work throughout Russia and western Siberia from time to time. You will work closely with clients to provide geomechanical solutions and integrate with other domains within the Field Development team.
Successful candidates will have the following:

The company is an international Service company and market leader in Russia. You will be compensated well for your expertise and Ex-Pat candidates can expect a housing allowance and return flights. Moscow is not considered a hardship location however.
