Lawrence Harvey have been retained to provide a Consultant Reservoir Geologist to our client based in Stavanger. Duties will include performing evaluation and modelling as input to reservoir simulations and for the purposes of assessing well locations, determining well requirements and data acquisition procedures, following up and evaluating well results and constructing/updating of geological models.
Key Requirements
Reservoir geological modelling with Petrel
Perform geological evaluations of well data
Create and update existing geological models based on new well data and new seismic interpretations
Support operation group with relevant geological information
Support reservoir engineers with relevant geological information
Contribute to optimal well design
Create input to Well recommendation documents
Job Description
LOCATION: Stavanger, Norway

Duties will include performing evaluation and modelling as input to reservoir simulations and for the purposes of assessing well locations, determining well requirements and data acquisition procedures, following up and evaluating well results and constructing/updating of geological models.
Experience:
*Expert knowledge of Petrel software and workflows.
*Ability to evaluate and analyse quality of data used for geological modelling.
*Sedimentology and stratigraphy: Ability to interprete lithology and correlations based on logs, adapt geomodels and well results to influence the drilling activities accordingly.
*Reservoir evaluation: Ability to update geological models when needed.
*High skills in the technical part of the job including strong knowledge of tools to support studies and evaluation.
*Minimum 5 years' experience from relevant disciplines.
Requirements:
