Is 48mg/L oil and grease in water sample from seep good

Hi, I am new to petroleum chemistry and would appreciate if someone can shed some lights. A water sample collected from a natural seep tested 48mg/L for grease and oil. In terms of petroluem exploration, is it significant for further work and prospecting?
