Hi all! I'm working on a rather odd project only tangentially related to E&P but this seems like a forum where I might actually get an answer (or be set on the right track, at least!). I'm looking for a percentage list of the composition of the Earth's crust by rock type/classification. The best I can seem to find is a chemical composition (telling me Silicon Dioxide, for example - of which there are dozens of rock types that are based off of or include SiO).
Specifically, I'm looking for the percentages of the Earth's crust made up of the following, but a general list will do or even a link to some sort of resource that will have what I need. Thanks in advance!
Breccia
Claystone
Carbonatite
Conglomerate
Mudstone/Shale
Limestone
Schist
Serpentinite
Slate
Skarn
Andesite
Basalt
Gneiss
Granite
Greenschist
Marble
Pegmatite
Rhyolite
Sandstone
Diorite
Gabbro
Hornfels
Peridotite
Quartzite
