Post "Rockypedia" my new website idea, I need some input.
I am an A-level geology student, currently on the topic of Igneous rocks. I've noticed in my studies how hard it is to find some basic information about rocks, and how much time and effort I put into delving through the internet to find these facts. My idea is simple, one 'wikipedia' style crowd driven website that covers all the key facts about rocks, a rock fact file if you will. I want to know whether geologists out there would use this website or not, whether its worth me developing. If there are any geologists out there that would like to assist me personally in the creation of this website, don't hesitate to message me.

What kind of level of detail are you looking for?
Wikipedia has some pretty detailed pages already....
