Schlumberger announces the release of Techlog 2010.1.4

Techlog Interactive Suite 2010 brings wellbore-centric, cross-domain workflows to different disciplines: petrophysics (core & log), geology, geophysics, drilling, reservoir and production engineering. Techlog offers a tightly integrated environment to process your wellbore data and deliver results.

Key components of this release

Techlog 2010.1.4 is an incremental release which focuses on fixing issues identified in the 2010.1.3 version of the Techlog Interactive Suite. Included are:

* A new Multi-user mode
* A correction on depth shifting algorithm (when applied to the variables)
* Real-time C-Runtime library added for Osprey Connect 64 bit version

Techlog 2010.1.4 is available for download via the SIS Support Portal (http://support.slb.com) to registered customers or via the WAT system at (http://www.techsia.com),

Notes

Techlog 2010.1.4 is certified for Windows 2000 and the following operating systems in 32 bit and 64 bit versions: Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP.

Techlog 2010.1.4 is the last version of Techlog that will support Windows 2000.

Techlog 2010.1.4 has the following hardware requirements:

* 3GB RAM, to ensure proper manipulation of large variables for wellbore imaging, core image analysis and for large projects over 1GB in size
* Internet connection of at least 1 gigabit per second between the machine running Techlog and the server where project data is stored, to ensure quick access to project data

This product is particularly suitable for

* Anyone undertaking well-bore centric analysis of data and working on the following domains: petrophysics (core & log), geology, geophysics, drilling, reservoir and production engineering
* Asset teams looking to integrate and analyze well bore data

Does anybody have a good workflow description of displaying and editing image log files in TechLog? I can't seem to find a way to do this and I know it's possible.
