Array Induction Two Foot Radial Hydrocarbon Saturation Image (AHTSHI)

This is an acronym for a well log used in the oil and gas industry. The code AHTSHI is a unique identifier to recognize this particular log and can be found in any (ASCII) log files provided by the logging company. Array Induction Two Foot Radial Hydrocarbon Saturation Image is the full name for this log. Usage of this log is not high and encountering it is a rare occasion.

This log displays readings of the fraction of pore volume filled with hydrocarbons.

So basically this is a measure of the fraction or percentage of the pore volume occupied by a specific fluid; e.g., oil, gas, water.

This log usually has the unit 'Porosity'. This is the pore volume per unit gross volume. Porosity is determined from measurements on cores or interpreted from logs.
