Integrated Transit Time (ITT) |
This is an abbreviation for a well log acquired after or during drilling. You could have found the code ITT in your log evaluation software or your corporate datastores. The official name for this log is 'Integrated Transit Time'. This log is often used in the industry. The values of this log represent the total acoustic travel time over a wellbore interval as computed by integrating acoustic slowness from a sonic log (Compressional Slowness) over the interval. At a more general level these values are measures of the acoustic travel time (The total time required for an acoustic wave to travel from one point to another).This log usually has the unit 'Micro Time'.
