High voltage maximum (HVMX)

This is an acronym for a well log used in the oil and gas industry. You might have encountered this acronym HVMX in your log evaluation software or any (ASCII) log files provided by the logging company. High voltage maximum is the offical name for this log. The business value of this log is often deamed high.

This log can be used to evaluate the property used to indicate quality or confidence of data from a nuclear magnetic resonance logging device.

This log in unitless. Either the log measurements can not be expressed with a unit (eg. a ratio) or the unit is unknown to us.
