This is an abbreviation for a well log acquired after or during drilling. The acronym FCPZ is a unique identifier to recognize this particular log and can be encountered in your log evaluation software or your corporate datastores. The full name for this log used in the industry is 'Formation Factor from CPPZ'. This log is not often acquired after (or during) drilling a well.

This log displays readings of the ratio of the resistivity of water-saturated rock to that of the water solution contained in the rock. Also called Formation Resistivity Factor and abbreviated "F".

This log in unitless. Either the log measurements can not be expressed with a unit (eg. a ratio) or the unit is unknown to us.
