Fluid Compensated CBL Amplitude (FCBL)

This is a log of measurements along a well bore (a well-log). The code FCBL is a unique identifier to recognize this particular log and can be found in any (ASCII) log files provided by the logging company. The full name for this log used in the industry is 'Fluid Compensated CBL Amplitude'. This log is not used too often in the industry.

Use this log to investigate the measure of acoustic wave amplitude used for cement bond evaluation. At a higher level, this can be seen as a measure of the acoustic amplitude (A measure of the maximum departure of an acoustic wave from the average value).
