Bulk Density Correction, Bottom, Real-Time (DRHB_RT) |
This is a log of measurements along a well bore (a well-log). The code DRHB_RT is a unique identifier to recognize this particular log and can be found in any (ASCII) log files provided by the logging company. The code stands for 'Bulk Density Correction, Bottom, Real-Time'. The business value of this log is often deamed high. This log displays readings of the correction to the Bulk Density log, as measured with a Gamma-gamma type logging device; used as an indication of hole condition to validate the Bulk Density measurement; conventionally abbreviated DRHO. Concluding, this is a measure of the correction applicable to a measurement, to remove environmental effects or measurement errors; the unit quantity is determined by that of the data.This log usually has the unit 'Density'. This is the density (mass per unit volume) of a material. Usually at Standard conditions (STP). Also used to indicate the frequency of occurrence.
