Array Induction Four Foot Rxo (AFRX) |
This is a well log used in the oil and gas industry. The acronym AFRX can be found in any (ASCII) log files provided by the logging company. The acronym stands for 'Array Induction Four Foot Rxo'. This log is not used too often in the industry. This log can be used to evaluate the resistivity of the formation flushed zone (that portion of the formation in which the movable fluids are considered to have been completely replaced by mud filtrate during drilling).This log usually has the unit 'Resistivity'. This is the property of a material which resists the flow of electrical current. The ratio of electric-field intensity to current density. The reciprocal of conductivity.
