CMR Free Fluid for T2 Cutoff 5 - Station Log (CFF5_SL) |
This is an abbreviation for a well log acquired after or during drilling. You might have encountered this acronym CFF5_SL in your log evaluation software or any (ASCII) log files provided by the logging company. The acronym stands for 'CMR Free Fluid for T2 Cutoff 5 - Station Log'. This log is not used too often in the industry. This log helps to evaluate the proportion of the bulk volume of the formation which is occupied by fluids which are free to flow; commonly abbreviated FFI, measured using nuclear magnetic resonance techniques.This log usually has the unit 'Porosity'. This is the pore volume per unit gross volume. Porosity is determined from measurements on cores or interpreted from logs.
