Waveform 6 Depth (WF6D) |
This is a well log used in the oil and gas industry. The code WF6D is a unique identifier to recognize this particular log and can be found in any (ASCII) log files provided by the logging company. The abreviatin stands for 'Waveform 6 Depth'. This log is not often acquired after (or during) drilling a well. This log can be used to evaluate the perpendicular measurement downward from a surface. Also, the direct linear measurement from the point of viewing usually from front to back.This log usually has the unit 'Standard Depth Index'.
