| Short-Spaced Total Countrate (TCRS) |
This is the name of a log measured along a well bore (a well-log). You could have found the code TCRS in your log evaluation software or your corporate datastores. The code stands for 'Short-Spaced Total Countrate'. Usage of this log is not high and encountering it is a rare occasion. This log displays readings of the repetition rate of a periodic waveform. The inverse of period. This log usually has the unit 'Count Rate'. This is the number of events per unit time; e.g. the output of a scintillation counters.
