Small Shock (50G) Count (SCR1) |
This is a log of measurements along a well bore (a well-log). The acronym SCR1 is a unique identifier to recognize this particular log and can be encountered in your log evaluation software or your corporate datastores. Small Shock (50G) Count is the offical name for this log. This log is not used too often in the industry. Use this log to investigate the measure of shocks or vibrations above some threshold per unit of time; used to quantify vibration severity for MWD/LWD tools. At a higher level, this can be seen as a measure of the frequency (The repetition rate of a periodic waveform. The inverse of period). This log usually has the unit 'Count Rate'. This is the number of events per unit time; e.g. the output of a scintillation counters. Data from this log can be used to investigate the shock rate of the tool. A similar log might be: ARC Average Tool Shocks (ATSK).
