Ratio of curves U/K (RUK)

This is an acronym for a well log used in the oil and gas industry. You might have encountered this acronym RUK in your log evaluation software or any (ASCII) log files provided by the logging company. Ratio of curves U/K is the offical name for this log. Usage of this log is not high and encountering it is a rare occasion.

This log displays readings of the ratio of concentration of Uranium to that of Potassium. This log in unitless. Either the log measurements can not be expressed with a unit (eg. a ratio) or the unit is unknown to us.
