Ratio of curves TH/U (RTHU) |
This is an abbreviation for a well log acquired after or during drilling. The acronym RTHU can be found in any (ASCII) log files provided by the logging company. Ratio of curves TH/U is the offical name for this log. This log is not often acquired after (or during) drilling a well. This log can be used to evaluate the ratio of concentration of Thorium to that of Uranium. This log in unitless. Either the log measurements can not be expressed with a unit (eg. a ratio) or the unit is unknown to us. Data from this log can be used to investigate the element concentration of the formation.
