This is an acronym for a well log used in the oil and gas industry. The code RSOZ is a unique identifier to recognize this particular log and can be found in any (ASCII) log files provided by the logging company. MCFL Resistivity Standoff Standard Resolution is the offical name for this log. This log is very common in the industry.

This log can be used to evaluate the distance from a sensor to the medium being investigated, such as from a logging sonde to the wall of the borehole.
