Pressure 1s Digit (PONE) |
This is a log of measurements along a well bore (a well-log). You could have found the code PONE in your log evaluation software or your corporate datastores. The abreviatin stands for 'Pressure 1s Digit'. This log is not often acquired after (or during) drilling a well. Use this log to investigate the element of a representation for pressure data in which each digit in the decimal pressure (1's, 10's, 100's, etc. )is stored as a separate unitless digit. This method is obsolete, but the property is needed for mapping historical data. Simply said, this is a log that describes the force or thrust exerted over a surface divided by its area; e.g., hydrostatic, flow, pump, etc. May be gauge or absolute.This log in unitless.
